We are dedicated to promoting the traditional sacred and cultural life of African people. As Nana Yao Opare Dinizulu,I said "Man's destiny is a reflection of himself. We must be about the task of fortifying our ancient beliefs and traditions. It is only through this effort that strength is given..." We provide opportunities for people to explore Akan religious philosophy and its practical application in the social, political and economic spheres. As Akomfo (priests) in the Akan tradition we offer you spiritual consultations and the appropriate traditional rituals to channel the spiritual energies needed to bring about the best possible outcome for any situation. We believe in Nyame Odomankoma, God Almighty, who created and rules the universe. We venerate the Abosum who advise and assist human beings with achieving our destinies. We respect and honor the ever present spirits of the Nsamanfo, the Ancestors, who aid us with our needs when we carry forwrad the heritage they have passed down to us. In Akan tradition the Akom is the ritual where the Abosum and Nsamanfo are praised with song, dance and drum. We continue the Akom and the rites of passage that Nana Yao Opare Dinizulu established with the help of Nana Akua Oparebea; Edin To (naming ceremony), Ye Goro Bra (puberty rites), Aweregye (wedding) and Ayie (funeral). Following in their footsteps we offer classes and workshops in African culture including music and dance. For your Kwanzaa programs, graduations or other special occasions we offer the libation ceremony which traditionally opens any important gathering and joyous and exciting traditional entertainment. You may request information on any of these services on our contact page.
